About Dicky Beach

Dicky Beach is located about two kilometres north of Caloundra and was named after the iron screw Steamship SS Dicky which was washed ashore in 1893 during a cyclone. 

There’s so much to love about this beach. Between surfing or swimming in the waves and easy hours in the skatepark and at the playground, the kids will have plenty to do while you relax in the endless sunshine.

What else you can do in Dicky Beach

There is a caravan park, just located opposite Deepfeet Dick Beach, Family Holiday Park. This is the best spot for those who are after a nice and very convenient place to stay, it is by the beach, shops, and bus stop.

What is more, there are more businesses here that you can shop. For example, you can enjoy a popular breakfast at Giggling Goat which is always busy. You can grab a great coffee from Between the flag coffee shop and walk along the morning beach.

At lunch, I recommend you to try Sticky pork belly Bahn mi which is awesome, or sit back and relax at a Thai restaurant, Tuk Tuk.

Before you go home, come and have a massage at Deepfeet or have dinner at Tuk Tuk and do the grocery at express IGA, then go home.
